Okay so the day and time is set. The first ever ReALE SALT LAKE Home Brew Contest will be held on the first home game of the 2009 season. Mark your calendars for April 2nd with beers ready at 5:00 PM. We are working on some celebrity judges, but for the most part it will be a ballot system with the winner taking home the breathtaking ReALE Salt Lake Home Brew Trophy (beer tap handle). We are working on some custom cups that will sell for $5 each. Please let us know if you are interested in one, this way we can see how many we should order.
Some basic rules:
-Ales only (ReALE Salt Lake)
-Brew the ALE that you feel best represents RSL
-You can bottle or Keg, its your choice, but bring cups if you Keg
-Beers must be prepared to drink by 5:00 PM on April 2nd at the Supporters groups lot
-Be honest with your judging. We want the right brewer to win
-Votes will be counted at the end, and possibly a final round for after the game
